An aerosol Duotone , the whole frame a continuous soft haze with a fine even film grain over it and every form sprayed rather than drawn , the space a vertical drift of color running from near-blue at the top down to the cold hue at the bottom. Deep blue against chalky lilac-blue , the hot color the only chroma in the frame and the cold one staying milky and de-saturated throughout. A female face in left profile dissolves into swirling white clouds and crimson forms at its rear. Bare Pastel Cactus branches spread across a Pastel blue sky within the opened head. A tiny Pastel ship floats at the far horizon beneath a smoky amber glow , solid at its core and dissolving into the haze at its edges with a bright rim where it meets the dark. Four layers back to front: the dark upper field , the broad drift of the hot hue rising from the bottom , the figure's sprayed mass , then a fine top pass of film grain over everything. Mythic and ominous , an apparition inside an enormous hostile atmosphere , played completely straight. ,
